WHAT IS ACES EUROPE

It is a European sports association based in Brussels that awards the Capital, City, Community and European Village of Sport awards every year to those municipalities that stand out for their municipal sports policy, infrastructures and for conceiving sport as health, improvement of quality of life of people, an integrating element of society and where the entire population has a place regardless of age, gender or origin.

ACES Europe is the only association recognized in the White Paper on Sport (Art. 50), the document that regulates sport in the European Union. Its more than 15 years of existence make us a benchmark in municipal sports with national headquarters in almost all the countries that make up the European Union.

Since 2001 they have been awarded, and capitals such as Madrid, Glasgow, Stockholm, Warsaw, Istanbul, Valencia, Cardiff, Stuttgart, Milan, Copenhagen, Rotterdam, or Turin have joined the Association. In addition, more than one hundred top-level cities in the field of sports policies have already been awarded and are part of the great family of ACES Europe.

We are working on an “Excellence Management Model” in order to work on a right tool to evaluate the quality of the Sport Services around the cities,
base on 4 important topics:

– Customer Satisfaction and expectations
– Long term view of the business
– Process Management
– Learning and daily improvements
